When should you assess your horse?
Subtle changes in movement, behaviour or performance are often the first signs that your horse may benefit from a closer assessment.

Meet Dr Anushka von Oppen
BSc BVMS MANZCVS (Eq Surg) Cert Vet Chiro (IAVC)
I've always been more interested in how a horse moves than in riding itself. That curiosity took me from an equine internship in regional Victoria, to training in France alongside world-leading lameness clinician Pr. Jean-Marie Denoix, and eventually to founding Core Equine.
My focus is lameness, sports medicine and biomechanics. Every assessment starts with a thorough hands-on examination and objective gait analysis. From there, I bring in X-ray, ultrasound and chiropractic where needed to build the full picture. It's a whole-horse approach, not just treating the obvious problem.
I'm a mobile practice and I come to you, across the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Macedon Ranges and greater Victoria.
