Unleash the potential.

A veterinary-led, mobile horse vet service in Melbourne — combining chiropractic, lameness diagnostics, and advanced spinal care for performance horses.

A Comprehensive Approach

At Core Equine, we specialise in detailed assessment of the musculoskeletal system, combining clinical expertise with advanced diagnostics and biomechanical insight. We consider the whole horse, not just the site of concern, recognising that movement, posture, and performance are influenced by a complex interplay of spinal, limb, and soft tissue function.

Whether your horse is used for pleasure or performance, our goal is to improve range of motion, strength, stability, and overall comfort through targeted, evidence-based care tailored to each individual.

What is Biomechanics?

Biomechanics is....

the study of movement and how the tissues (muscles, bones, tendons & ligaments) of the body all work together.

The goal of the biomechanical examination is to:

  • obtain detailed information about the horses posture and movement,

  • assess for areas of dysfunction and asymmetry,

  • identify which structures are involved and,

  • make a management plan reduce discomfort and normalise movement patterns in order to reduce the risk of injury and improve performance.

Testimonials

"My instructor recommended Anushka to me when my horse was diagnosed with kissing spine.  Having Anushka treat him has been a game changer. As she's a vet, she's been able to fully assess, diagnose and treat him accordingly in a way that no other body worker had been able to previously. "

Google Review

"An absolute master with the ultrasound. She listens to my horses, she listens to me, and she listens to my team.

She is able to make sound clinical reasoning, and if there is a puzzle, she WILL work it out.She is clear and concise with her explanations, as well as being extremely empathetic when hard decisions are needing to be made.

I have watched her treat a number of outside horses at my facility, from high level athletes, to retired pets. Every single horse and every single owner is treated with the exact same care."
